Mayin ("we", "us") is a Telegram bot, not an app. There is no sign-up and no account — everything happens inside a Telegram conversation. This policy explains what we collect as part of that conversation, and what happens to it.
Information We Collect
Conversation data. Your Telegram user ID and the messages you send the bot — the brand name and category you give us — so we can run the source map and reply in the same chat.
Payment reference. When you pay the $29 fee, our payment processor, Dodo Payments, gives us a payment ID and confirmation that the charge succeeded. We do not see or store your card details — Dodo handles the charge directly and is the merchant of record.
The report itself. The computed source map — the brand, category, ranked sources, and citation counts — is stored so it can be served at its permanent, unguessable link (mayin.app/r/<token>) whenever you or anyone you share it with opens it.
Site analytics. This marketing site (mayin.app) uses Google Analytics and Rewardful (affiliate tracking), both of which set cookies in your browser. The Telegram bot itself sets no cookies — there is no browser involved in that part of the product.
How We Use It
- Run the buyer questions for your brand and category, and rank the sources AI models cite
- Verify your payment and unlock the full source map for that conversation
- Serve your report at its link, for as long as you or someone you shared it with wants it
- Diagnose failures in the bot conversation or the discovery pipeline
Who We Share It With
Telegram — the messaging platform the entire product runs on. Perplexity — the AI model provider we send buyer questions to in order to discover which sources get cited. Dodo Payments — our payment processor and merchant of record for the $29 charge. We do not sell data to anyone, and there is no advertising network on the Telegram side of the product.
Data Retention
There is no account to delete because there is no account. A computed report stays reachable at its link indefinitely unless you ask us to take it down — email us and we will remove it. Conversation data in the bot's database is kept to make re-runs and support requests possible; if you want your Telegram conversation history erased, email us with your Telegram username and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect what we store, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
